The journal is dedicated to the scholarly study of all aspects of Islam and of the Islamic world. Particular attention is paid to works dealing with Qur'anic and Hadith Studies, Islamic Thought and Literature, Islamic Science and Humanities, Islamic Philosophy and Theology, Islamic Education and Learning, Islamic Law and Society, Islamic Economics and Business, Islamic Civilization and Science, and Islamic Contemporary Issues. The journal is committed to the publication of original research on Islam as culture and humanities. IJITH is published twice a year, March and September.</span></p>
