<p><em>Essentially, human beings cannot be separated from religious education. This also applies to Islamic education, which complements daily life in a reciprocal relationship: there are those who provide it and those who need it. Through this process, a society is formed that understands and practices life based on Islamic education, while mutually reminding one another in everyday conduct. The focus of this study is the synergy between Islamic da‘wah (religious outreach) and the needs of the local community. The objective of this research is to emphasize the importance of Islamic education in society, particularly for children and adolescents, as a means of continuity and succession in preserving Islamic teachings. The method employed is a descriptive qualitative approach in the form of socio-religious community service related to the cultivation of Islamic education. The results indicate that community members feel helped by the presence of religious activities and educational instruction for their children, as many residents lack a deep understanding of Islamic education. In addition, they perceive religious activities as essential for achieving inner peace in living their lives within the community. It is expected that these activities will contribute positively to fostering a more religious life for the Muslim community and society in general</em></p>

<p>Program <em>Holiday Learning </em>&nbsp;merupakan salah satu bentuk kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) 134 Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Ampel Surabaya di Desa Curahrejo, Kecamatan Sukorejo, Kabupaten Pasuruan, sebagai respons atas belum tersedianya kegiatan bimbingan belajar nonformal bagi anak-anak sekolah dasar di luar jam sekolah. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi Program <em>Holiday Learning </em>&nbsp;dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan tahapan persiapan, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Data diperoleh melalui observasi langsung dan wawancara informal dengan orang tua serta masyarakat, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Program dilaksanakan selama dua minggu pada bulan Juli, dua kali setiap minggu, dengan mengintegrasikan tiga bentuk pembelajaran, yaitu penguatan numerasi, pengenalan bahasa Inggris dasar, dan penguatan literasi reflektif melalui media film animasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peserta didik antusias mengikuti seluruh rangkaian program, meskipun masih ditemukan kesulitan pada operasi hitung perkalian-pembagian serta penghafalan kosakata bahasa Inggris yang secara bertahap dapat diatasi. Program ini juga berdampak positif terhadap perubahan sikap belajar anak serta mendapat dukungan penuh dari orang tua dan masyarakat setempat. Dengan demikian, Program <em>Holiday Learning </em>&nbsp;terbukti efektif sebagai model pendampingan belajar berbasis kebutuhan masyarakat yang mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar.</p>
