The journal pursues the academic exploration of Indonesian Islamic education discourses such as schools, colleges, universities, and other Islamic educational institutions such as pesantrens (Islamic boarding schools) in Islamic education discourses. The journal promotes empirical research and theory relevant to Islamic-affiliated educational institutions. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah perlunya pendekatan pembelajaran yang tidak hanya berorientasi pada hafalan semata, tetapi juga pada pemahaman makna, penghayatan nilai, dan penerapan sikap keagamaan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Model deep learning difokuskan pada proses pembelajaran yang mendalam, reflektif, dan bermakna bagi siswa sesuai tahap perkembangan usia dini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&amp;D) dengan desain model meliputi perencanaan, pengembangan perangkat, validasi ahli, uji coba terbatas, dan revisi. Model ini mengintegrasikan pendekatan kontekstual, pembelajaran aktif, serta kegiatan yang merangsang empati dan spiritualitas anak, seperti cerita Islami, permainan nilai, dan refleksi sederhana. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa model deep learning dalam PAI mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep keislaman secara mendalam dan mendorong tumbuhnya karakter religius pada siswa kelas rendah. Salah satu bentuk inovasi yang menonjol adalah pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis Al-Qur'an yang mengintegrasikan elemen multimedia interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perkembangan desain media pembelajaran berbasis multimedia dalam kurun waktu sepuluh tahun terakhir, dengan fokus pada bagaimana konsep, pendekatan, dan implementasi media tersebut mengalami perubahan dan penyesuaian terhadap tuntutan zaman. Metode yang digunakan adalah <em>Systematic Literature Review</em> (SLR), dengan menelusuri artikel-artikel ilmiah yang relevan melalui Google Scholar pada rentang waktu 2015 hingga 2025. Dari hasil penyaringan dan analisis, diperoleh sejumlah literatur yang membahas beragam model desain, serta bentuk media yang digunakan, mulai dari video interaktif, animasi 2D/3D, hingga aplikasi mobile berbasis Al-Qur'an. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan dalam kualitas visual, interaktivitas, dan integrasi nilai-nilai spiritual dalam desain media pembelajaran. Selain itu, tren terkini memperlihatkan pergeseran dari media pasif menuju media yang lebih partisipatif dan kontekstual, sejalan dengan kebutuhan generasi digital saat ini. Employing a qualitative narrative study, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s model with credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability tests. The findings reveal that the principal plays a strategic role through visionary planning, organizational management of teachers and facilities, implementation of student and teacher development programs, and continuous evaluation to foster educational improvement. Specific strategies include optimizing limited resources, strengthening student discipline through motivational approaches, innovating extracurricular talent and interest programs, managing financial resources effectively, and building intensive collaboration with the community and religious leaders. The results indicate that participatory and adaptive leadership creates positive impacts such as increased teacher motivation, improved student discipline and achievement, and the establishment of a more conducive learning environment. The study concludes that the principal’s role is critical in enhancing educational quality in rural areas. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, this research involved Arabic teachers and students as participants selected through purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies of syllabi, lesson plans, and assessment instruments. Data analysis followed the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that authentic assessment implementation covers three competency aspects: cognitive (using short- answer and essay tests), affective (through peer assessment and student journals), and psychomotor (using project and practice assessments). Supporting factors include enjoyable learning activities, availability of teaching aids, teacher and student readiness, and adequate time allocation. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include student discipline issues, low Arabic language proficiency, and difficulties in reading and comprehending Arabic texts. Pokok permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah kinerja guru pada lembaga madrasah ditinjau dari pransertanya dalam segala aspek, khususnya pada tingkat partisipasi guru dalam keberlangsungan kegiatan madrasah secara menyeluruh.Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini: (1) Bagaimanakah kepemimpinan kepala Madrasah dalam peningkatan partisipasi kerja guru? (2) Bagaimanakah strategi kepala Madrasah dalam meningkatkan partisipasi kerja guru? (3) Bagaimanakah tanggapan guru-guru tentang kepemimpinan kepala Madrasah dalam meningkatkan partisipasi kerja? (4) Bagaimanakah model kepala Madrasah yang dibutuhkan dalam meningkatkan partisipasi kerja guru. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui teknik pengamatan, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Employing a qualitative narrative approach, the research involved purposively selected participants, including pesantren leaders, Yanbu’a program managers, teachers, students, and parents. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed interactively using Miles and Huberman’s model. The findings reveal that the Yanbu’a curriculum is designed adaptively and contextually, emphasizing gradual mastery, quality recitation, and spiritual habituation rather than rigid memorization targets. Its implementation integrates multimodal strategies (visual, auditory, and talaqqi wa musyafahah), daily routines, and structured evaluation based on individual competency achievements. The curriculum contributes significantly to producing students who are fluent in Qur’anic recitation, systematic in memorization, and disciplined in character. However, challenges such as limited time allocation, large class sizes, and teacher consistency were identified as barriers to optimal outcomes. This research concludes that Yanbu’a represents not only a technical learning method but also a holistic Qur’anic educational system embedded in pesantren values.
