This community service program aimed to strengthen the mental resilience of congregants through mentoring activities integrated into a weekly Islamic study program based on Islamic values at Ainul Yaqin Mosque, Jiyu, Kutorejo, Mojokerto. The program was motivated by various life pressures that may affect individuals’ psychological well-being, highlighting the need to strengthen mental resilience by integrating spiritual and social dimensions. The program employed the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach through five stages: Discovery, Dream, Design, Define, and Destiny. The participants consisted of 65 congregants, including 25 males and 40 females. The activities were conducted through interactive lectures, discussions, question-and-answer sessions, case studies, experience sharing, self-reflection, and the strengthening of dhikr and prayer practices. Evaluation was conducted using pre-tests and post-tests to measure changes in participants’ understanding. The results showed an increase in the participants’ average understanding scores from 58.8% in the pre-test to 82.1% in the post-test, representing an increase of 23.3 percentage points. A total of 52 participants (80%) achieved the predetermined success criteria. The mentoring activities also increased congregants’ participation in discussions and reflection and encouraged the application of Islamic values such as patience (sabr), gratitude (shukr), effort (ikhtiyar), reliance on Allah (tawakkal), positive thinking (husnuzan), self-control, and optimism in daily life. These findings indicate that weekly Islamic study sessions can be developed as a medium for strengthening mental resilience and promoting mosque-based community empowerment. The sustainability of the program can be supported by integrating mental resilience topics into regular Islamic study sessions with the continued involvement of mosque administrators and religious leaders. Keywords: mental resilience; Islamic values; weekly Islamic study; community empowerment; ABCD.Downloads
