Call for Papers: January 2027

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of Taruna Law, we are pleased to announce that the journal is now open for submissions. We invite you to submit articles on any topics that are part of the journal's editorial calendar as well as on additional topics of interest to our journal in Vol. 5 No. 1, January 2027. Starting from Vol. 5 No. 1 (January 2027), articles are written only in English.

Taruna Law emphasizes positive laws and Islamic laws (Syariah) in Indonesia and other countries by emphasizing the theories of positive laws and Islamic laws (Syariah) and their practices in the world that developed in attendance through publications of articles and book reviews. 

Starting in 2023, Taruna Law is published twice a year (January and July). Articles are written in either Indonesian or English. However, starting from Vol. 5 No. 1 (January 2027), articles are written only in English. All published articles are available online. The articles go through a rigorous double-blind peer review process. For more information regarding manuscript submission requirements, please visit our website at

The journal will address issues of importance to scholars, students, and researchers of positive laws and Islamic laws (Syariah).
